Best Seats in John Paul Jones Arena

John Paul Jones Arena offers courtside seating on three different sides of the court. There’s also premium seating with a great view in the lower level behind the benches in sections 102-104 and on the opposite side in sections 112-114. Many tickets in these sections are held by season ticket holders with amenities that come with their seating priority. So if you find tickets here, check to see if any special food or parking is available with your ticket.

Sections 105-111 put you on the lower level behind the basket for a great view that doesn’t require you to move your head back and forth. And if you’d like the rowdy atmosphere of the student section without being a student, check out sections 316-319 just above the student section.

Anything in the 100 level will give you that tight in-game experience. Finding the best seats for a Virginia Cavaliers basketball game will sometimes take some effort. If the team is having a good season you can expect to pay way more than on a down year.

Below is the current seating chart. You will see sections 103 and 113 are the places to be. Behind the basket in section 108 will be crazy during a free throw. The last thing to think about is if you are willing to spend some extra money. If so, look at the suites that surround both sidelines of the court. The views will be quite good and the amenities to go along with the seats will be a nice touch.
