The San Francisco 49ers are More than a Rush
The San Francisco 49ers are one of the most popular NFL teams in the western half of the United States, having a huge following in California and beyond. Although there are other teams in the state, no one has quite the same history or the same level of respect as the 49ers have. Tickets to San Francisco 49ers games are always big money items, and even in their huge new stadium, their games have a tendency to sell out. The sooner you act to get yours, the less likely you are to miss out on the action. This is one of the most exciting teams in all of pro football right now, and they are one team that you will definitely want to see play when you can.
The 49ers were founded in 1946, playing in the All-America Football Conference until they joined the NFL in 1950. This team has won the Super Bowl five times, all between 1981 and 1994. They did go to the Super Bowl most recently in 2012, but ended up losing to the Baltimore Ravens. With legendary Hall of Fame members like Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Ronnie Lott, this team has had a strong core of players. Although there are no huge names on the team like that now, this team is young and has a lot of potential to create football heroes. Thanks to this, the 49ers are a ton of fun to watch play.
The team’s name comes from the 1849 Gold Rush that took place in California as thousands of prospectors moved west in search of gold. San Francisco was particularly busy at this time in history, and the team has used this as their namesake. Tickets to San Francisco 49ers games don’t have anything to do with gold rushes today, but you can still join thousands of others as they come to the stadium in Santa Clara and have a fun evening watching your favorite athletes compete. Levi’s Stadium is located just outside of San Francisco proper, and can hold about 68,000 fans. If you’ve never been to a game here, it’s well worth the trip.
