Best Time to Buy Sacramento Kings Tickets

Last Minute Sacramento Kings Tickets

The Sacramento Kings are heating up. Now is your chance to grab some tickets and go to a live game. We are here to help you find the right time to buy tickets as well as the right seat. We focus completely on experience so keep that in mind when budgeting. There are many games throughout the NBA season to choose from and it’s up to you to find the right one.

In the ticket listings below you will find all of the Sacramento games for the season. This will include games from the beginning all the way through the championship. You will come across games both home and away. Mixed in the listings will be parking passes for you to buy. We will discuss this later.

Right Time to Buy Sacramento Kings Tickets

Timing the purchase of your tickets isn’t always that easy. We do have some strategies that we’ve been monitoring over the years and feel like they are worth sharing. Professional sports tickets have gone up substantially over the years in price. Keep this in mind no matter which section you choose.

Around two weeks before the game you want to see is the sweet spot for buying tickets. This is an area where buyers and sellers are fairly equal. As the demand starts to diminish ticket sellers will start to drop their prices. Considering they want to move their seats will allow you to tap into lower prices. This is where you need to press the buy button.

With more weekdays than weekend days, you can expect a lot of games to occur during the week. This may or may not work for you, but it will save you money. A weekend game can cost you more than a game on a Wednesday night.

Depending on the team the Sacramento Kings face will also determine the ticket price. A hot team or hot player can drive up ticket prices. If the kings are facing the Los Angeles Lakers you can almost guarantee a higher price ticket. Look for games against weaker or less followed teams.

Finding a Seat in the Golden 1 Center

A great experience at an NBA basketball game will come down to where you sit. Our goal is to find you the best seats in the house. It’s critical to remember about your budget. However, we really want you to have a good time and that may require you to spend a little bit more money. You can learn a lot more about the Golden 1 Center here. For now, here is our view of the Kings seating chart.

Lower Level  – The closer to the court the better. The lower-level seating provides you with up-close views and access to the great sounds of the game. Consider a lower-level seat before anything else. Look for section 108 if you want to sit behind the Sacramento Kings bench. You can also look for section 106 if you would like to sit behind the opposing team’s bench. Another option is to look for sections 110 and 111 if you would like to watch the players come out of the tunnel.

Upper Level – This is one area of the arena we hope you can avoid. We know that the budget will be much smaller in the upper-level seats but the experience will fall drastically. If you can spend a few extra dollars we highly recommend better seats.

Courtside Seats – The best seats in the house are most likely the courtside seats. Not only will you have the best views of in-game action but you will also have access to many amenities including VIP parking, all-inclusive food, and drinks, potentially meet players, and access to the many lounges in the stadium.

Club Seats – If you can commit a few extra dollars we highly recommend club-level seats. These seats can give you access to some great amenities including in-seat waiter service, parking, VIP entrance, and access to plenty of other perks.

Boxes and Suites – The price you pay for these seats is worth it. You’ll have a comfortable way of watching an NBA basketball game. This is a great way to watch the Sacramento Kings while enjoying some comfortable seating, access to free parking, stacked kitchens, VIP entrances, and many other amenities.

Where to Park Around the Stadium

Parking your car has to be one of the more annoying things when attending an NBA game. If you have to drive your car then you’ll most likely have to pay to park. We highly recommend you purchase a parking pass from many of the different parking sites online. You can save a little bit of money as well. You will most likely pay around $20 to park your car.

What Kind of Tickets Are There?

There are definitely different ways of buying tickets. We want to share a couple of options with you that you may not have known about. These are things to consider before attending a Sacramento Kings game.

Season Tickets – Although season tickets can be quite an undertaking they may be something you’re interested in. If you’re willing to commit some time to sell tickets to the games you don’t go to, you could make out at the end of the season. By pricing tickets above face value will allow you to recoup some of the money you spent on the games you attend. If the Sacramento Kings are playing well, you can expect a nice return on your investment. There are no guarantees that you’ll make money back when purchasing and selling tickets.

Single-Game Tickets – Most likely you’re here because you’re looking for one game to attend. This is quite often the case. Please understand you’ll most likely end up paying a premium for your tickets.

Group Tickets – Most teams offer group tickets throughout the season. This allows you to purchase anywhere from 2 to 8 games during the year. Although you will most likely not be able to select the teams you want to go see, it does give you an option for going to games. You can expect most games to happen during the week as well.

Last-Minute Tickets – If you ever thought about going to a game the day of it is quite possible. You can park your car and walk up to the stadium and purchase your ticket from your phone. Ticket sellers who were unable to attend or unable to sell their tickets will try to recoup anything they can at the last minute. This is a great way to get an affordable priced ticket. Keep in mind, you could get left out without a seat.

Finding a Restaurant Nearby

Eating is part of the experience of going to the game. Since a lot of people aren’t really into stadium food you do have options outside the arena. We provided a couple of options for you to check out.

Need a Place to Stay the Night
