Philadelphia Union Tickets for Sale

The Philadelphia Union joined MLS in 2010, bringing one of America’s best sporting cities to top-flight soccer in the US. Nicknamed the U and the Doop Army, the Union is consistently challenging in a strong Eastern Conference and for the US Open Cup. The club is heavily influenced by the founding years of the country. The name the Union calls to the thirteen colonies when Philadelphia was the capital and the team’s colors of navy and gold represent the Continental Army’s uniforms. The snake on the Union’s crest is inspired by the ‘Join or Die’ political cartoon from Philadelphia’s first son, Benjamin Franklin. Philadelphia is home to one of the only private school/soccer academy setups tied to an MLS club. The YSC Academy is designed to educate and train players through high school and into the professional ranks.

Suburu Park opened in 2010, Suburu Park seats 18,500 and is located in Chester, PA. This venue like many others isn’t in Philadelphia itself, the Union has made its territory along the Delaware River home. Along the banks, the club has built its ground looking out at the Commodore Barry Bridge, while also hosting the club’s Headquarters, training facilities, and plenty of parking to enhance the pre-game festivities.

The ground has the feel of both a modern American stadium and elements of classic European design, such as the concave rooftops. Over half of the seats have a beautiful view of the Commodore Barry Bridge, which has created one of the iconic shots in MLS. However, there are plenty of seating options to elevate your matchday experience. The Presidential Row puts you right behind the team bench with an all-inclusive food and beverage package. Field-side tables, individual seats, club seats, and game-day suites are all available at Suburu Park. There are multiple party decks from which you can watch the match and have dinner or drinks – the Union Ale House Deck, the Seaport Deck, and the Bridge Deck. To sit with the supporters’ group, the Sons of Ben, head down to River End (sections 134-140), but keep in mind that standing, singing, and flag-waving are common practices within this area of the ground.
