Right Time to Buy Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets
If you are ready to attend a Minnesota Timberwolves game, then you better understand when you should purchase your tickets. If budget isn’t a concern then go ahead and buy the seats that work for you. Most money-conscious people will want the best options available.
As the youth movement continues with the Timberwolves so do the price of tickets. Prices will fluctuate throughout the season based on the quality of the team. If the Timberwolves are playing above-average you can expect ticket prices to be above face value.
We like to look for tickets about two weeks before the game. This is around the time where both supply and demand are fairly equal. Once demand starts to diminish so will price. Ticket sellers will want to sell their tickets as soon as possible to recoup any money they invested. This is your chance to potentially save some money
We suggest looking for tickets against opponents that aren’t as good or don’t carry a large fan base. Games against the New York Knicks will be a lot more expensive than games against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Also, consider the day of the week. Games on a weekday will be less expensive than games on the weekend.
Looking for a Seat at the Target Center
Seating is the most important part of going to a game. This will of course depend on your budget. We suggest you put the experience of attending an NBA game ahead of everything. We are not talking about going overboard here but please try to give yourself a great seat.
Lower Level – The lower level is notorious for being the best seats in the house. This is where you are close enough to the action. You can hear the sounds of the players and coaches. If you would like to sit behind the Timberwolves bench look for section 132. If you are a fan of the opposing team look for section 130. You can also sit near the game tunnels in section 101.
Courtside Seats – There is nothing much to explain here other than a large price ticket. The courtside seats will provide the best seats in the house. If you can afford to sit courtside it will make an experience once-of-a lifetime.
Upper Level – Upper level seats at any stadium are not worth the cost. We highly recommend you look for seats in the lower level or better. When you’re sitting too far at an NBA basketball game you will miss out. You’ll end up watching most of the game on the big screen just like if you were at home.
Club Level – There are tons of club level and suite level seats around the Target Center. If you can afford these club-level seats you’ll have access to specialty lounges, parking passes, HDTVs, smaller lines for restrooms and concessions, and much more.
Parking Near the Target Center
One of the most annoying things about going to a professional sports event is parking your car. If you can’t take public transportation you are looking at an average of $20 to park your car. There are plenty of garages around town and we suggest you purchase your parking spot ahead of time using one of the many parking apps.
Ticket Options to Research
We’ve been around the ticket industry for many years. We’ve learned a lot about saving money and buying the best seats possible. Here are couple of options that you have when buying tickets.
Season Tickets – If you are a true fan of the Minnesota Timberwolves you may want to consider buying season tickets. If you plan to go to more than a couple of games a season this could be a way to not only recoup money but actually make money on the season. It does take the legwork and requires a little bit of luck. Look into some season tickets as a potential for the future.
Single Game Tickets– Most likely you’re looking for tickets for a single game. You will most likely pay a premium on your tickets.
Group Tickets – Organizations do offer you group tickets on the season. This can vary from two games to eight games. You don’t usually have an option to select the games you want to go see. You will get a mix of games throughout the season. These games will most likely be during the week.
Last Minute Tickets – If you decide you want to go to a game at the last minute it is possible. Tickets are readily available using many mobile apps. You can actually find some pretty sweet deals if you play it right. There are a lot of ticket sellers who are unable to attend the game or sell their tickets. This is your chance to get a cheap ticket at the last minute. Always remember that you can get shut out.
