The Kansas City Chiefs joined the NFL in 1970 when the AFL and the NFL merged, but they were originally founded back in 1960 as the Dallas Texans. They changed their team name to the Chiefs when the team relocated to Kansas City in 1963. Coaches like Hank Stram and Marv Levy—who went on to coach the Buffalo Bills—have also been voted into the Hall of Fame.
