Right Time to Buy Houston Rockets Tickets
Although timing your purchase isn’t necessarily a science there are opportunities available for you to save money. With all the research we’ve done over the years we feel like we have a decent strategy to help you find tickets at a lower cost.
Around two weeks before the game you want to attend is where you should start looking. This is when supply and demand are fairly equal. As the demand starts to go down so will the ticket prices.
In the weeks leading up to the game you want to see, we suggest you watch a couple of different sections. You can see how price moves up and down during specific times of the week. Once you see the price start to drop is when you need to take action.
Consider going to a weekday game versus a weekend game. There are plenty of games during the season, but the games during the week tend to have less of a demand and prices will be lower.
Another thing to consider when it comes to pricing is the opponent the Houston Rockets will face. A game against the San Antonio Spurs will be a lot more expensive than a game against the Orlando Magic.
Great Seats at the Toyota Center
There are plenty of seats in the Toyota Center. Picking one that meets your budget is critical, however, we feel like the experience should always be ahead of everything else. Without a great seat in the Toyota Center, you could be stuck with a not-so-good time. Here is our seating chart breakdown at the Toyota Center.
Lower Level – Anytime you get a lower-level seat at an NBA game you’re going to be in good shape. This will give you access to all the great views and sounds of the game. If you want to sit behind the Houston Rockets bench consider sitting in section 119. If you would like to sit behind the opposing team’s bench look for section 121. You also can watch players come in and out of the tunnels in sections 111, 112, 102, and 103.
Courtside Seats – With a courtside seat you can have a great time. This is where you want to be if you want to see and hear everything.
Upper Level – We only recommend sitting in the upper level if this is all you can afford. Although it will get you into the stadium we don’t feel like the experience will be that great. Try to save a little bit more money to get down into the lower level order on one of the other sections in the building.
Clubs and Suites – There is plenty of club-level and suite-level seats in the building. Consider these locations as a plus. You’ll have access to all kinds of amenities included in the in-suite attendant, VIP parking, all-inclusive food and soft drinks, and much more.
Parking Your Car Nearby
Parking is probably one of the last things you want to think about. Unfortunately, this is one of the many things you need to worry about before going to a Houston Rockets game. If you can use one of the many mobile apps such as ParkWhiz or SpotHero to get your passes in advance, you could save yourself a lot of effort. You’ll spend around $15 to park your car.
Buy Some Tickets
You’ve come looking for tickets and now you are ready to make your purchase. Here are a couple of options available to you that you may not have thought about. Whether you want to go to one game or more games there is an option for you.
Season Tickets – With a season ticket package you’ll be able to attend as many games as you wish. For the games you don’t attend, you would then sell those tickets. This will allow you to recoup the money you spent on going to the games. You’ll be surprised how a good year on how a good year can make you money. Like every investment, there are no guarantees.
Single Game Tickets – With the single-game ticket you’ll have access to one game. This is the most common way people purchase Houston Rockets tickets. Keep in mind, this will most likely be the most expensive way to buy a game ticket.
Group Tickets – The Houston Rockets organization offers group tickets to those who want to go to more than one game. Anywhere from 2 to 8 game packages are available. You will have to go to the games they pick and most likely it won’t be against top-notch teams. You’ll most likely see several weekday games. Keep this in mind when scheduling the season.
Last Minute Tickets – You decided to go to the game on the day it’s being played. There are plenty of options for you to take advantage of this. You can walk up to the stadium without a seat and purchase it using one of the many ticketing apps available. Sellers will be looking to sell their seats for the most amount of money they can. This is your chance to take advantage and get affordable tickets.
