Coldplay in Oregon – Oct. 2 Moda Center
British stadium rock giants Coldplay are set to take to the stage in Oregon’s Moda Center on October 2. The band released their debut album Parachutes in 2000, earning worldwide attention for their single “Yellow”. Years of progressive success followed, with numerous awards and critical acclaim culminating in several Grammy Award nominations and wins.
Chris Martin and co. are assured to bring their colorful visuals and multi-layered sounds to the stage as part of their ongoing 2017 tour. Tickets for this event are certain to be considered as hot property, given the ever-growing popularity of the band. This one is definitely an evening not to miss out on!
Florida Georgia Line – Oct. 7, Sunlight Supply Amphitheater (Formerly Sleep Country)
Country pop sensation Florida Georgia Line will be coming to the Mattress Firm Amphitheater on September 9. The ‘Country Bros’ duo Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard rose to fame in 2012 with their breakthrough hit “Cruise” and have developed a loyal following of fans performing to sold-out audiences ever since. On this their smooth tour they are promoting their new album Dig Your Roots, which features collaborations from Tim McGraw, Ziggy Marley, and the Backstreet Boys.
The Weeknd & Gucci Mane – Oct. 6, Moda Center
The Weeknd is a Canadian Grammy award-winning superstar, singer, and songwriter who was first propelled to fame in 2010 after he uploaded himself singing several songs to youtube. His talent was instantly recognized and following on from this he released his first number one album Beauty Behind the Madness. This album produced two number-one singles The Hills and Can’t Feel My Face. Both of these tracks went on to make history by simultaneously sitting at the top of the Billboard Hot R&B Songs. The Weeknd will be joined by rapper Gucci Mane, who is probably best-known for his song Black Beatles, which earned him a place on the Billboard top 100.
WWE Raw in Portland – Oct. 16, Moda Center
Wrestling fans better get their tickets fast for this one, as flagship show WWE Raw is set to bring the pain to the Moda Center on October 16. Having debuted under the WWF brand in 1993, things have just got better for WWE Raw as it was broadcast live from 208 different arenas in 171 cities and towns in eleven different countries (the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Afghanistan in 2005, Iraq in 2006 and 2007, South Africa, Germany, Japan, Italy, and Mexico).
