Where Should You Sit in Toyota Stadium
Toyota Stadium was opened in 2005 as a soccer-specific stadium for FC Dallas. Holding just over 20,000 fans the stadium features a full bowl of seating, with unique features at both ends of the ground. On the south side, the National Soccer Hall of Fame will call Toyota Stadium home. The site debuted in 2018 and makes Dallas a must-visit for all soccer fans to check out not only another stadium but the history of US soccer. On the north end is a massive beer garden which is home to the club’s major fan group the Dallas Beer Guardians. Toyota Stadium has hosted NCAA College Cup finals, CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, and Olympic qualifiers.
Try to find seats in sections 104-107 and 125-129 for the best center views. You’ll pay more but the experience of play-watching is worth it. Corner sections are okay for a one-sided game. If you want to watch the FC Dallas offense up close for one-half go for these. There really aren’t many bad seats in this stadium. You’ll have to choose what kind of perspective you want.

Some FC Dallas History
FC Dallas was one of the original ten to form Major League Soccer back in 1996 and their place in the soccer landscape hasn’t changed. Whether it’s lifting trophies, developing the talent of the future, or breaking ground on a Hall of Fame, FC Dallas is a central piece in MLS and US Soccer. Originally named the Dallas Burn, the club eventually dropped the nickname for a more traditional ‘FC’ name but retains Burn, the Toros, and the Hoops (from their jersey design) as just a few of their nicknames.
Over the past decade, FC Dallas has become known as a club that scouts, plays, and develops young talent, both from America and around the world. This style offers fans exciting young players and entertaining action, which has seen the club make the US Open Cup final four times, lifting the trophy twice. MLS fans new and old will recognize the name, Jason Kreis, arguably Dallas’ best all-time player. He holds the club record for goals (99) and went on to manage Real Salt Lake, New York City FC, and Orlando City SC.
FC Dallas is one of the pillars of MLS action and a must-visit for all soccer fans. If you want to be amongst the standing, chanting, singing, drumming, and flag-waving, then head over to the Budweiser Beer Garden on the north end of the stadium. For premium seating options, Toyota Stadium has luxury suites for purchase, field-level seats to get right next to the action, and club seats for an elevated experience, but still in the open-air environment.
Note: FC Dallas does not require children that are three feet or shorter to have their own ticket.

Toyota Stadium is located about 30 miles north of Dallas in the suburb of Frisco, TX. The best way to access the stadium is by car via the Dallas North Tollway. If you are spending the weekend in the area, check out the Trammell Crow Park, along the Trinity River, as well as the area between the Design District and Downtown proper. For a truly authentic match day experience head over to the Peticolas Brewing Company before the match to hang out with the Dallas Beer Guardians, the main supporter group.
