Foo Fighters: Oct 24, FedExForum

The Foo Fighters are touring with their new albumConcrete and Gold,  which is the band’s ninth studio album to date. The album marks something of a shift for the band, a move back to their original alternative rock style. Listening to the tracks  “Dirty Water” and “Arrows”, ” you can hear the influences from rock greats such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.

For years the band have built up a reputation as stadium rockers, given the number of sold-out arena tours and major music festivals they have headlined. They are well known for their hard-hitting rock ballads, the type of tunes that get you jumping off your seat and singing along at the top of your voice.  The Beach Boys – Nov 2,  The Orpheum Theatre

Good Vibrations are coming to town! The Band hailed for their impeccable catchy harmonies and the pioneers of  ‘California sound’ are not an act you want to miss. The Beach Boys are one of the most influential music acts of all time, racking up over five decades of music success this band have sold over 100 million records worldwide and solidified their status as one of the best selling bands of all time.

The band were originally formed in 1961  and founded by brothers Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, together with their friend Al Jardine and their cousin Mike Love. Inevitably the band have gone through some transitions over the years; The band is now fronted by Mike Love and in 1965 Glenn Campbell,  replaced Brian Wilson when he retired from touring. Following this, in 1965 Grammy award winner Bruce Johnston, joined the band replacing Campell. Johnston is joined by Jeffrey Foskett on guitar,  Brian Eichenberger on bass, Tim Bonhomme on the keyboard,  John Cowsill on percussion and Scott Totten on guitar.

Brian McKnight- Oct 21, Fitz Casino Tunica

Image result for brian mcknightThe Superbly talented R&B singer-songwriter, Brian McKnight will be bringing his amazing range of vocal finesse to Memphis. McKnight is highly regarded for his strong and wide-ranging vocal skills together with an admirable multi-instrumentalist talent; can you believe he plays over eight instruments!  His career has seen him nominated for 16 Grammy Awards among many others.

McKnight will be promoting his latest album Genesis which he released in August of this year. The album has already secured McKnight three top 30 Urban AC and AC hits and has featured in the Top 10 Current R&B albums and Top 20 Current Hip Hop/R&B albums.
