Since moving from SeatGeek Stadium to Soldier Field, the Fire have been trying hard to find their grounding. We all know how poor the grass conditions can be inside Soldier Field. There are some good seats to watch a soccer game, but unfortunately, it doesn’t carry that soccer venue vibe. They only have the first two sections available, leaving the upper decks out of the ticket options. This is a good thing.
As we look at the seating chart you will see the lower bowl is where you want to be. The general admission supporter section is always known for a rowdy good time. These tickets are very reasonable as well. Look to the midfield areas for premium seats. Go a few rows back and you can save on tickets. Try not to go too high or you’ll be amongst all of those empty seats giving you a non-atmospheric feeling. Ticket prices are definitely reasonable as we will discuss later.
Check Out a Little History
The Chicago Fire was founded in 1997 as one of two expansion teams who joined the league in 1998. Their debut season was something no club has since accomplished. The Fire won MLS Cup, knocking out the reigning champions, DC United, and won the U.S. Open Cup completing a history trophy double. While that was Chicago’s only MLS Cup to date, the club has been a strong contender throughout the past two decades. Four Open Cup trophies in total and two more Cup appearances. The Fire has been the home to USMNT legends such as Brian McBride, DaMarcus Beasley, and Carlos Bocanegra, and international superstars like Bastian Schweinsteiger and Cuauhtemoc Blanco.
