Best Seats at the Chase Center

Located on 3rd and 16th street in San Francisco, Chase Center is home to the NBA’s Golden State Warriors. The state-of-the-art venue hosts many other great events as well. Great musical acts like Elton John, Santana, Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, The Who, Sara Bareilles, Ariana Grande, and Cher have played and/or will be playing Chase Center. Great comedy like Trevor Noah and other events like WWE Raw or Smackdown also regularly appear at Chase Center.

Where to Sit

For Sporting Events: Chase Center puts all (except for floor side lounges) of its suites in rows circling the arena. So that means that those paying affordable prices in the upper deck will be closer to the floor than they would be in many areas. Check out sections 219-222 and sections 204-207 for seats near midcourt in the Chase Center.

Check out sections 103-104 and 116-117 for seats at half court on the lower level. And for Warrior’s games, check out the 13-floor sections. Chase Center has 32 courtside lounges, and a number of those floor seats could have access to those.

For Concerts: The best view of the stage inside Chase Center for shows is in one of the arena’s 6-floor sections. Section 2 is in front of the center of the stage with sections 1 and 3 flanking the middle section.

For less expensive, straight-ahead views of performers, check sections 9 and 10 (the only basketball floor seats available during concerts) and sections 109 and 110 directly behind them. The most direct centered view in the upper deck is in section 213.

Section 213 is also one of the many handicap-accessible sections inside Chase Center. Sections 206 and 220 are also handicap accessible in the upper deck. Check out sections 102, 104, 105, 113, 115, 116, and 117 for handicap-accessible seating on the lower level. Sections 1 and 3 are handicap accessible on the floor level (of note: sections 120, 122, and 203 are handicap accessible for basketball only).

What to Expect When You Arrive

Expect any bags you bring into Chase Center to be searched when you enter the arena. Check the arena website to know what size bag to bring in and what not to bring to Chase Center.

Parking: There are several lots surrounding Chase Center. But event goers must share those spaces with residents and businesses residing in the local area. Due to the high volume of people in the area at the time, expect parking rates to go up during events.

To avoid parking hassles, make arrangements to rideshare with Uber or Lyft to Chase Center. SFMTA’s bus service is another option for getting to Chase Center. And MUNI light rail service is free for the day of the event for anyone with a ticket.
