Best Time to Buy Baltimore Orioles Tickets
This will vary from season to season, but finding cheap tickets to a Baltimore Orioles game can be found around 7-10 days before the game. Sellers will look to unload their tickets as soon as they can to avoid a no-sale scenario.
If you can go to a weekday game, you could save some money. You will also find more seat availability during the week. Day games during the week might work for a cheaper date as well.
Don’t forget about the opponent. A weaker team the O’s face could bring fewer spectators. You get better seats to a Royals game than a Yankees game. Keep that in mind when going through the selection process.
Where Should you Sit at Camden yards?
There is some really cool history behind Camden Yards. The stadium became the blueprint for all new parks in Major League Baseball. Camden Yards is located in the historic district of Baltimore. So what does this mean for seats? We’ll go through some areas where you should consider sitting.
Once you get inside Camden Yards, you shouldn’t have a hard time making your way around. Although there are tons of sections and seating areas, things like Field Box, Club Box, and Terrace Level will appear a lot.
Field Box – This is how you get access to the game up close. Sit behind the Orioles dugout between sections 24-29 and sit behind the visitor’s dugout in sections 22-26. These field-level seats are the priciest other than the VIP locations.
Cool Tidbit – This is where you want to be if you are looking for Foul Balls. Pay Attention.
Club Box – How about some home plate action? Sections 1-9 are where you want to be to really get the visual behind the plate. You’ll have access to waitstaff and multiple lounges if you want to go inside.
Roof Deck – The center field party scene awaits. Have a great time watching the game from a distance, but you will certainly save a few bucks. Local beers and local food can be found here.
Upper Deck – Bet you know what this means. Some cheap seats. A great place for a large group or if you just want to go in for a few innings. Try not to sacrifice the experience for a few bucks. Always try to upgrade.
Camden Yards Parking
One of the few things to consider when going to the game is where to park. Camden Yards has its fair share of parking, but we highly recommend getting your parking pass ahead of time. Depending on your location, you’ll pay around $8-$20 for a parking spot. Use mobile apps like SpotHero and ParkWhiz to save a little.
Food Around Camden Yards
When it comes to baseball you think about what you are going to eat all game. Baseball is all about beer and peanuts during the game. However, you may want something with a little more substance. There is definitely great food inside the park, but here are a couple of places that may cut the costs.
Boog’s BBQ – How about a nice BBQ sandwich before the game? This should fill you up so you can enjoy the game without being hungry.
Pickles Pub – Your typical pub-style location. Enjoy a nice beer and sandwich for a very reasonable cost. A fun atmosphere as well. Check out this fun menu.
Need a Place to Stay
There are a few places to stay around Camden Yards, but you may want to stay in hotels a bit further away for a better experience. We listed a couple of hotels to consider. Check out the rest on major hotel sites.
Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor – You can find rooms for as low as $113. This is really close to Camden Yards and could be your best option for the price.
Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor – A bit more expensive, but the location gives you access to the stadium and Inner Harbor.
Grab Some Tickets
What kind of tickets should you buy? There are many factors each spectator goes through before going to a game. Are they huge fans, live close by and so much more? You may be surprised how some tickets are cheaper than others.
