ZZ Top Still a Force in the Rock World
When it comes to classic rock, ZZ Top is one of the biggest names there is. They have been touring off and on since they formed in 1969, and they have one of the largest followings of any bands out there. If you’re a fan of rock, or just curious to see why there are so legendary, tickets to ZZ Top are going to be one of the highlights of your concert going season. They put on a show that you will never forget.
The band consists of Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard. They have maintained the same core members of the group for more than 45 years, and they are an iconic name in the music world. Before they made it big, the band was based out of Texas and played at local clubs. Their first album came out in 1971, but they didn’t gain widespread fame until 1973 when Tres Hombres came out. Since then, they have had many hit songs, including “Legs,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “La Grange,” and “Tush.” The band has influenced many other artists, such as Luke Bryan, Wilco, and Pink. These artists all come from different styles of music and backgrounds, which just points to the huge influence that the band has had over the years.
ZZ Top was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and is still going strong. The band is also well known for their epic beards, but ironically, although his last name is Beard, drummer Frank Beard tends to wear his facial hair as just a moustache. It’s just the front men Gibbons and Hill that have the long beards. They have one of the most distinctive sounds in all of rock music, and their live shows are full of fun and energy, even though the band members are all older. Tickets to ZZ Top are still some of the best concert tickets you will ever find, and if you get the chance to see them play, you really should take it. Even the most casual of rock fans will find it hard not to enjoy themselves at their performances.
